This is the "First" Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved PPL ground theory course to be listed in the Professional Training and Examination Refund Scheme under the Maritime and Aviation Training Fund (MATF).  

 

This course is conducted by an FAA-approved Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI).  After completion, students will be authorized to apply for taking examinations at the FAA-approved test centers, which makes it more convenient and economical to laid the necessary foundation to become pilots.
 

This course contains the following units:

1. Flight Theory and Mechanics of Flight

2. Air Law

3. Meteorology

4. Aeronautical Radio Operation

5. Aircraft Systems

6. Aircraft Performance and Flight planning

7. Human Factors

A fixed based jet simulator with 180 degrees visuals with realistic instrument and overhead panels will be used to demonstrate relevant items taught during the course.

*Eligible persons - Self-financed participants who are employed by companies in related industries may apply 80% refund of the course fee or a maximum of HK$30,000 (whichever is less).
